Lorcan Hanafin ready for Spa Francochamps debut
Lorcan Hanafin’s tour of legendary European racing circuits continues this weekend with a trip to Spa Francochamps in Belgium.
The Leeds-based driver is contesting two Porsche championships this season.
Two weeks after his debut at Imola in the Supercup Championship that runs alongside several Formula One Grand Prix, Hanafin is preparing for his debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany championship.

His Italian adventure marked his first event in Europe but he left the legendary Imola track in high spirits after taking a top ten finish and second in the newcomers category.

“P8 overall and P2 Rookie was a great way to start my European debut and Supercup championship,” he said. “The conditions were extremely challenging but I kept it on the road and brought the car back in one piece. I’ll be looking to build on this momentum in Spa for the first round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany championship.”
His next event is on the legendary Monaco Grand Prix track in a support race to the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of May.
