Three class wins for Kerry co-drivers on Carrick-on-Suir Forestry Rally

Headford co-driver Donagh Crowley was the best of the local co-drivers on Sunday’s Carrick-on-Suir Forestry Rally. 

He guided Gerard Lucey to seventh overall and a class win in Mitsubishi Lancer E8. 

Castleisland’s Denny Greaney finished ninth overall alongside PJ O’Connor. They also won their class in another Lancer. 

Firies co-driver Niall Myers failed to start the event after Aidan Long’s  Subaru Impreza suffered an ECU issue on Saturday evening which could not be resolved in time for the event.   

Lixnaw’s Tommy Commane won class 13 with Hal Lewis in their Ford Escort. 

One of the start of the show was Tarbert’s Mossie Costello who finished second overall in the Junior 1000 element of the rally.
