Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club will support Kerry Mental Health’s Tie Day on Sunday.
The club is organising the first classic car run of the season on Sunday and has involved several other Kerry-based clubs.
Drivers will leave the club’s Vintage Shed on Lewis Road at 11am on Sunday morning. There they will be joined by members of The Roughty Vintage Club and Muskerry Vintage Club before heading to Tralee where they will link up with members of the Tralee-based Kingdom Veteran Vintage and Classic Car Club.
The four clubs will head off on a tour of West Kerry, taking in Brandon Point, Camp Mountain and Inch Beach where the drivers will enjoy a lunch stop at Sammy’s.
Today is Tie Day Friday, a fundraiser organised by the Kerry Mental Health Association.
“All drivers are being asked to dress up and wear ties and will be encouraged to make a donation to Kerry Mental Health during the run,” Tom Leslie of the Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club explained.
