Craig Breen will chase his third successive win on Rallye San Remo on April 8 and 9.
He will drive a Ford Fiesta RC2 on the legendary Italian championship rally and John Rowan will codrive on this occasion.
Breen and regular co-driver Paul Nagle have won this rally on the last two occasions it ran.
They won it driving a Skoda Fabia in 2019 and again last year in a Hyundai i20 R5. The pandemic prevented the rally running in 2020.
Breen’s Italian outing comes two weeks before Rally Croatia, the next round of the World Rally Championship when Paul Nagel will return to the passenger seat.

“I am happy to say we back are again this year. I really enjoyed in the past. We managed to win the last two occasions so yeah couldn’t miss it again this year,” he said.
“It’s been a while since really Sweden so with Croatia coming forward it is an opportunity to get back into competition again. Really looking forward to it going there with the Fiesta RC2 for the first time with John Roman on the notes. It will only be our second rally together.”
While Breen is chasing his third win in the legendary Italian event, Nagle has already won it three times, his first win in 2007 alongside Kris Meeke in a Peugeot 207 S2000.
