Tralee-based trucking firm, O’Neill’s International Transport, is sending one of its trucks to Poland this weekend loaded with aid equipment to help Ukrainian refugees.
The truck will leave the company’s depot on the Listowel road in Tralee on Saturday morning.

Members of the public can donate essential aid items like blankets, winter clothes, non-perishable foods, first aid, toiletries and nappies between 8am and 4pm every day this week.
O’Neill’s Transport is working with volunteers on the ground. The donated good will be given to humanitarian agencies south of Warsaw and re-distributed to Ukrainian refugees who have been displaced since the Russian invasion last Thursday.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
