Kerry Motor Club will celebrate its 50th birthday on Monday night next January 31st and all past and present members are invited to an informal night out in the Rose Hotel.
The club was founded on this date in 1972. Half a century ago, January 31 was also a Monday.
The club always intended to mark the occasion but there was too much uncertainty over the last few months.
That is until restrictions got lifted on Friday night last.
As a result, the club was able to pull together a hastily organised event for next Monday night.
Anyone who has an interest in the activities of Kerry Motor Club is welcome along to the Rose Hotel from 7pm on Monday – for an informal get-together to celebrate a very important milestone in the club’s history…
“We know it is a school night but we want to do this on the correct date to mark this special occasion in the club’s history, we hope to see as many of you there for a night of chat, reminiscing and memories,” said a club official.
Refreshments will be served on the night.
