While James Quinlan still has an incredibly difficult journey ahead of him, his family have confirmed that he is responding well to medical treatment in a New York Hospital.
The Kerry Motor Club member suffered a major brain Haemorrhage just before Christmas.

Earlier this week he underwent more surgery.
He responded well to medical treatment but faces a long and expensive road to full recovery.
“He is conscious and responsive,” his sister Karina told Kerry Motorsport News.
A fundraiser, set up by the family over Christmas has already reached over €80,000 but much more is needed to help offset both the medical bills at Lenox Hill Acute Care Hospital in Manhattan and future rehabilitation expenses.

Kerry Motor Club will be running a series of fundraisers over the next few weeks – more details will be announced over the next few weeks.
