Breen/Nagle first Historic in BMW M3 O’Donoghue/O’Donoghue lead Modified class Rentokil Initial Killarney Historic Rally preview and entry list

The rally received a record entry list with 160 cars taking to the start line of Molls Gap on Saturday week, November 27th.

Rob Duggan and Ger Conway will carry the number 1 on the car door as 2019 Historic Rally Winners. Rob will be in modified machinery for this year’s event. Another Killarney man Colin O’Donoghue, who won the modified section in 2019 is the top modified seed. It is sure to be a ding dong battle for modified honours between the pair of friends.

World Rally Stars Craig Breen and Paul Nagle will be the first car on the road, bidding for 2021 glory. Craig will have some stiff competition as his father Ray will be sure to keeping the top seeds on their toes for the duration of the event.

Denis Moynihan and Mark Falvey, both of who previously won the Rentokil Initial Killarney Historic Rally in the past should be pushing those in front of them from start to finish.

The rally celebrates its 25th year in existence this year and car number 23 has to get a special mention. John Keatley, who won the first event in 1996 will once again take to the road in the same Porsche 911 that won the rally 25 years ago.

The rally has once again attracted a big overseas entry, with Neil Williams and Gareth Lloyd among the top crews crossing the channel to take part in the famous event.

Locals are once again showing their support for the event, with over 70+ Kerry cars starting the event
