Kenneth Quirke continues his American rallying adventure on this weekend’s Show-Me Rally in Washington County, eastern Missouri.
The West Kerry man is down to contest the two-day rally, which gets underway on Friday, alongside, Johnny O’Sullivan, in a Ford Fiesta R5.
Last time out the pair won the STPR Rally in Pennsylvania and will start this weekend’s rally as event favourites.
The Show Me Rally takes place on the same weekend as the last round of the American National Rally Championship, the Oregan Trail Rally, but O’Sullivan and Quirke can only compete on regional events.
“It’s the next super regional event available to us on the East side of the country even though it’s still 1,000 miles away from New York City,” said Quirke. “Our first time out together was the overall win at STPR, hoping for a good clean run like last time with no drama or mistakes.”
