Kevin Coyne had another trying weekend at British Superbike Championship at Silverstone last weekend.
His father Mark explains:
“Where to start. From P31 to P23 sounds pretty ok. But we had a small crash in practice in morning , nothing too major but after some suspension changes had to push a little to see if it worked. Doing same time in qualifying but tucked the front.
“From the race on lap 1 there was a couple bike pile up which we got caught up in leaving us about 6 seconds behind after lap 1. Bike didn’t feel great and we think we know why after morning crash so will sort for next time. But chipped away and with a few crashes and catching up to some riders and passing towards last few laps finished the race in p23.
“We definitely feel with our pace there could have been some points available but that’s the way it goes. Hope all riders involved in the races make a recovery.
