Supersport Pro racer Andrew Murphy is making the long trip to Bishopscourt for the latest round of the Ulster Superbike Championship on Saturday.
The Yamaha R6 rider is currently third in the Dunlop Masters 600cc class championship but struggled for rear end grip during the August meeting.
With just two Mondello events left to run this season – one of them in the much colder month of October, the Mountcollins racer is heading north to get in some high-speed mileage ahead of the penultimate round in just over a week’s time.

“I am going up for a bit of fun,” he told Kerry Motorsport News. “I am struggling for rear end grip so I am hoping to dial in the bike a bit better. The thing is Bishopscourt is a fast flowing circuit and Mondello is very stop-start so ideal set up for one place might be no good in another. But I am going up for the craic anyway.”
