There are several Kerry-based riders making the trip to Mondello Park this weekend. Darragh Crean will be hoping to extend his lead at the front of the Production Twins class on his Suzuki. He has three wins to name already this year in a class that also includes brothers Dylan and Tom McElligott and Anthony O’Carroll.
“I am going to enjoy myself, most importantly and try to win all three races,,” said Crean. “I need a lead on the championship points, I’m leading by four points now so it’s too tight.”
Emmet O’Grady is hoping some new trick electronic equipment on his Honda Fireblade will give him another podium after taking a third place in the July meeting. The Superbike Cup class has plenty of Kerry interest with Evan O’Grady leading from the unrelated Dean O’Grady. Asdee’s John Griffin is seventh in this category.

In Supersport classes, consistency has given Andrew Murphy a solid third place in the Pro Standings while Rob O’Connell holds second in the Cup category. This class also includes the double-jobbing O’Carroll and Jack O’Grady. Daugh’s Mike Sheeran is in sixth place in the 400GP class.
