Static rally car display new addition to Sunday’s Churchill Heritage at the Forge event

Kerry Motor Club will host a static display of rally cars at Sunday’s Heritage at the Forge event in Churchill.

At least three rally cars will go on display in field to the rear of the old forge in Churchill village.

The two-day event gets under way with a classic car run on Saturday evening with over 50 cars expected to take part in a tour of North Kerry. The run will start at 630pm from Churchill with registration beginning at 530pm.

Funds raised by the car run will go towards the upkeep of the Forge Heritage Centre in Churchill and the Fenit Lifeboat

Sunday’s main event is the annual tractor run which starts at 12.15 from Churchill GAA grounds. The fleet of tractors are expected back around 2pm and this is when the amin show in the Heritage Field gets underway.

This is where Kerry Motor Club will show off some of its members rally cars and members will be on hand to discuss motorsport and the club’s activities.
