Farranfore motorcycle racer Kevin Coyne will make his Brands Hatch debut this weekend.

The world-famous track, home to the British Formula 1 Grand Prix up 1986, is the host venue for the latest round of the British Superbike Championship.
Coyne is contesting the National Superstock 600cc class withing the main championship after a season in the British Jr series last year.
Kevin is still only a teenager, his father Mark remembers the glory days of the Kent circuit.
“Before Silverstone, the British Grand Prix was held there,” said Coyne Sr, “You had [Alain] Prost, [Nigel] Mansell, [Ayrton] Senna all racing there and now you have Coyne from Farranfore there too.”
Kevin’s race weekend gets underway on Friday morning with practice and qualifying ahead of two races on Saturday and Sunday.
He remains on target for top 20 race results after taking 23 in one race at the World Superbike meeting earlier this month.

His next outing will be at Donington Park on the weekend of August 13-15 but they will skip the Thruxton round in between due to budget constraints.
