Killarney’s Dermot Healy appointed to Motorsport Council
Killarney and District Motor Club’s Dermot Healy has been appointed to Motorsport Ireland’s Motorsport Council

The 18-person body has is the top table in Irish motorsport and is responsible for the governance of motorsport in Ireland, the improvement of safety, the regulation of motorsport by enforcing FIA regulations and drawing up of Competition rules, judicial matters and dispute resolution, and the development of motorsport together with the approval of Championships.
The MSC is custodian of the sporting power for the Republic of Ireland and the Motorsport Ireland Commissions under the FIA statutes.

Dermot, who was the clerk of the course for the 2019 Rally of Lakes will work alongside the following people:
John Naylor (President); Aidan Harper (vice president); Jimmy Cleary, Kieran Coleman; Joe Corcoran, Karl Harris, Angela Henehan, Fergal Henehan; James Coleman; Frank O’Connell; Pat O’Dowd. Niall Murphy, Dermot Quigley; Roy Stewart; Tom Walsh and Richard Warbrick.
