O’Grady secures backing from REV’IT race wear for season ahead
Superbike racer Emett O’Grady will race this year with official support from Murphy Harley Davidson, Triumph Dublin and Rosso Ducati.
The Irish agents for the US, British and Italian marques is also the Irish importer for REV’IT race wear.
“Our shop was opened in 2007, originally just with the Harley-Davidson brand. In 2008 we moved from our first temporary premises on the Naas Road beside the RedCow Hotel, to Ballymount. We added the Triumph brand to our business in 2009 and built a new showroom on the same site. We then took over Ducati in Ireland in 2012 and now have Rosso Ducati, Dublin Triumph and Dublin H-D all on the same site in three distinctly separate premises,” founder Jeff Murphy explains.
O’Grady will race a Honda Fireblade for TAG Racing in this year’s Dunlop Irish Masters and selected Northern Irish and UK races.
He will do so while wearing REV’IT racing leathers supplied by Murphy’s expanding motorcycle business.
“Off the peg they fit better than my previous custom-made leathers,” O’Grady told Kerry Motorsport News. “REV-IT supply riders in Moto GP, World Superbikes and British Superbikes – they really are a high-end product.”
