Burke wins in Tennessee – and of course there was a Kerry man there to witness it
Seamus Burke and Martin Brady took a start to finish victory on Saturday’s Bristol Forests Rally in Tennessee and there was a Kerry man there to witness it all.
The Donegal/Galway crew were driving a Ford Fiesta R5 for the first time and set fastest times on all nine stages of the new for 2021 Rally.
Based in Bristol, TN, the event ran in the famous Cherokee National Forest.
Burke and Brady, regulars in USA-based rallies, were helped, as usual by Boston-based Lisodigue, Fenit man Dan Brosnan
“This was his first time ever even sitting in it, apart from five runs over the .75-mile shakedown on Friday,” said Dan, “ He didn’t know even what buttons to press to start it! But still fastest on every stage. They had a great rally and went fastest on every stage.”
