Kenneth Quirke’s has added two more American rallies to his 2021 schedule.
The West Kerry co-driver has signed up for the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood in Missouri on March 20 and 21 alongside Martin Donnelly in a Ford Fiesta R5.
He will also contest a rallysprint in South Carolina with fellow New York-based Irishman Liam McNelus in a Ford Fiesta R2.
The Rally of the 100 Acre Wood is round two of the American Rally Association’s National Rally Championship. Quirke is already entered in round one – The Sn* Drift Rally on February 19 and 20 in Michigan – as codriver to former Irish Tarmac Rally Champion John Coyne in a similar Ford Fiesta.
“The rallysprint is really only to allow Liam blow off the cobwebs after the winter,” said the New York-based Camp native,
The Rally of the 100 Acre Wood maybe just over six weeks away but the entry list is already nearly at capacity.
“There is a savage entry in for it. 91 already out of a maximum of 95,” added Quirke “And two of those spots are reserved for the Subaru team and anyone else that finished in top five last year is guaranteed an entry.”
