Breen and Nagle confirmed for Arctic Rally Finland
Craig Breen and Paul Nagle will drive the third Hyundai i20 Coupe World Rally Car on Arctic Rally Finland Powered by CapitalBox later this month.

The WRC’s only all-winter rally takes place on February 26 – 28 over roads usually used on the Finnish National Rally Championship counter The Arctic Rally which took place last month.

Based in the town of Rovaniemi, the capital of Lap Land and home of Santa Claus, the rally will be run over 1o stages and 251.08km.
“The ambient temperatures should be between -6°C and -14°C during the week of the rally although they could dip as low as -20°C. And there will be plenty of snow – or what Lapland people call ‘white gold’ – on the ground, so perfect conditions for a winter rally,” deputy clerk of the course Kari Nuutinen told wrc.com.
The rally gets underway on Friday, February 26, with a shakedown. Later that day crews will tackle two runs over the 31.05km Sarriojärvi test test.

Saturday’s second leg features a compact route around Vanttauskoski. Mustalampi (24.43km), Kaihuavaara (19.91km) and Siikakämä (27.68km) will be driven twice, with the second run through the latter stage in darkness.

Sunday’s finale comprises two runs of the Aittajärvi (22.47km) test south of Rovaniemi, the second visit counting as the Wolf Power Stage with bonus points up for grabs in all categories.
Breen and Nagle wont get any extra training rallies ahead of the main event in just over three weeks’ time. However their teammates Ott Tänak and Thierry Neuville have entered a one-day event in Estonia. The Hyundai Motorsport pair aim to gain snow and ice experience at Otepää Winter Rally (February 13) in their i20 World Rally Cars.
