Motorcycle racer O’Carroll’s charity run for Children’s Hospice
Local motorcycle racer Anthony O’Carroll is attempting to run 160km during the month of February to raise money for charity.
The Ballyduff-based racer is raising funds for the Laura Lynn Foundation- Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
The hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to children with life-limiting conditions and gives respite and support to their families – both at the hospice and in their own home.

O’Carroll is preparing for the season ahead and while he is still uncertain what exact events he will enter as a result of the pandemic he has his eye on a few Dunlop Masters Rounds in Mondello Park and possibly some closed road races in Northern Ireland.
“I am out running and training every evening anyway, so this is a way of giving something back,” he told Kerry Motorsport News.
