Fassbender’s Italian job
Michael Fassbender heads to the final race in the European Le Mans Series the 4 Hours of Portimao in Portugal next month holding seventh place in the biggest endurance racing championship outside the world championship
Fassbender and his co-drivers Felipe Laser and Richard Lietz finished fifth in Sunday’s Monza race in Italy finished fifth in Sunday’s 4 Hours of Monza endurance race in Italy.
The local Hollywood A-lister drove their Proton Competition Porsche 911RSR for the first stint and was running as high as second in the GTE category until a safety car period intervened and he dropped down the order at the re-start.
