Kerry competitors in action this weekend
Porsche Carrera Cup GB
The Porsche Carrera Cup GB series moves to Oulton Park, in Cheshire this weekend where Lorcan Hanafin hopes to build on his maiden podium in the series after taking third at Brands Hatch two weeks ago.
The Leeds-based youngster is currently second in the rookie championship after four of 16 rounds.
His qualifying session is set to get underway at 11.45hrs on Saturday morning while his first races starts at 16.40hrs later the same day.
On Sunday he is racing at 1530hrs.
Coyne ready for next step
Local motorcycle racer Kevin Coyne’s British championship campaign continues this week with a visit to Snetterton in Lincolnshire.
The 18-year-old Farranfore based rider is tackling this year’s HEL Performance British Junior Supersport Championship on his Kawasaki.
This weekend’s meeting marks round three and four of the feeder series to the British SuperBike Championship.
Qualifying starts at 11.05hrs Saturday morning and his first race is scheduled for 15.35hrs later the same day. His second race is set for 17.20hrs on Sunday.
