Motorcycle racer Kevin Coyne has announced an extended series of UK events after being granted an entry to the opening round of the Thundersport GB Championship.
Last month, the Killarney-based racer revealed he was turning his attention to the opening rounds of the British Superbike Championship in the absence of any potential Irish events this season.
The opening round of the BSB series has been confirmed for the weekend of August 1 and 2 at Donington Park in Leicestershire and Coyne has entered this race.
The Thundersport GB Championship gets underway a week earlier at the same venue and Coyne has also placed an entry for this meeting in an effort to learn the track ahead of his BSB debut.

The second BSB round is scheduled for Snetterton on August 21-23 and Coyne will take in a test session at the Norfolk venue in the days immediately after the Donington event.
Further participation in BSB rounds will depend on budget, but for now, Coyne is committed to contesting the opening two rounds of this prestigious series as well as the first round of the Thundersport GB Championship.
