The Irish Rally season gets underway on later today with the Donegal Mini Stages Rally.
There is plenty of Kerry names in the entry list including Killarney’s Connor Murphy and Kieran O’Donoghue who are seeded 11 in their Ford Escort
Denis Coffey is on co-driving duty for Raymond Spence in another Escort. Ger Somers was originally signed up to co-drive Spence but a wheel-spinning exercise in Dublin ruled him out.
Kevin O’Donoghue placed a late entry in his 2.4 Escort and while he will carry number 84 on the doors he will run much further up the field. Donegal co-driver John McElhinney will called the notes.
The rally, which is based in the Lagoon Bar in Termon gets underway at 10.15am.
