Busy year ahead for vintage club

The Kingdom Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Club has announced an impressive calendar of events ahead of the 2020 road run season.

The largest classic car club in the county will run regular events from February to October starting with its annual dinner and dance in Tralee on February 22.

The club’s first Cars ‘n Coffee Meet will take place on April 26, while the first of its evening road runs will take place on June 8.

The club’s biggest undertaking is the Ring of Kerry run scheduled for May 16 and 17. This year’s Ring of Kerry will be 41st edition of the popular run that attracts well over 100 vintage and classic cars.

Cars n’ Coffee meets will continue through July 12, August 9, September 13 and October 18, while additional evening runs will take place on June 14 and 19. The Ballymac Run, the biggest evening road run of the season, will take place on July 17.

The annual autumn run to Kenmare is scheduled for October 9 to 11.
