Moyvane teenager Jack Mulvihill emerges as a rising drift star

The Kerry drifting scene has a new name to watch as 16-year-old Jack Mulvihill from Moyvane continues a rapid ascent through the ranks.
After getting his start at 360 Motorsport Park in Kilflynn, the young driver has spent the last few months proving he can mix it with the best in the country.
His recent run in the Irish Drift Series (IDS) Winter Series showed serious resilience after a mechanical failure in the opening round.
Mulvihill bounced back for round two at Mondello Park where he secured a second-place finish, carrying that momentum into the final round at Bishopscourt.
Jack dominated the field to take first place in the B Group on the day, a result that also secured him the B Group Championship title. This follows another strong performance in December at the Tandemonium competition in Rosegreen where he finished second overall.
Jack competes in a Nissan Silvia S14, and is currently working on his S14 to ensure it is ready for the upcoming IDS season, starting with Japfest at Mondello Park at the end of April.
While the car is expected to be finished just in time for the season opener, he plans to squeeze in a few test runs at 360 Motorsport Park to dial in the setup before the championship begins in earnest.
