The official entry list for the upcoming Circuit of Ireland Rally has been released and a strong contingent of Kerry co-drivers will head to Dungannon over the Easter weekend.
Leading the Kerry interest in the top-flight Rally2 class is Noel O’Sullivan from Muckross. O’Sullivan will once again partner with Callum Devine in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 as they look to secure a podium finish.
They are joined in the premier class by Rockfield’s Shane Buckley, who is navigating for David Kelly in a similar Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 machine.
In the modified sections, Currow’s John McCarthy will be on pace-note duties for John Devlin in their Ford Escort Mk2.
Adding to the local representation, Elaine Ní Shé will be competing in a Ford Fiesta Rally3 alongside driver Richard O’Lone, bringing further Kerry expertise to the four-wheel-drive classes.
The historic rally section also features local involvement, with Denny Greaney confirmed as co-driver for Trillick’s Ronan Campbell.
