Basketball and Horsepower: St. Mary’s and Ballymac Vintage Team Up
In what is surely the most unique collaboration of the 2026 season, the first major classic vehicle gathering in Kerry is being spearheaded by… a basketball club.
You read that right.
The first classic vehicle event of the Kerry season is taking a unique turn as St. Mary’s Basketball Club Castleisland partners with Ballymac Vintage Club for a major fundraiser.
The event, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, aims to send four St. Mary’s teams to the Euro Youth Basketball Cup in Barcelona this June. It is a significant opportunity for the local athletes to compete against top European talent.

Vehicles: Open to Tractors, Cars, and Motorbikes.
The organisers have confirmed separate routes for tractors and cars on the day. The committee extended thanks to BG Motors for their sponsorship, as well as those who provided hampers and prizes for the raffle.
