Kerry Motor Club Joins 2026 National Endurance Trial Championship

KILLARNEY/TRALEE – The 2026 Škoda Parts Ireland National Endurance Trial Championship has been officially launched, featuring a significant calendar shake-up that brings a new event to County Kerry.

Kerry Motor Club Added to Calendar

In a major development for local motorsport, the Kerry Motor Club has been included in the 2026 championship lineup for September. The move brings the national series to the county as part of an eight-round schedule divided into two regions to ensure nationwide competition. Under the new regulations, competitors must start at least two events in each region to qualify for final championship awards.

Killarney Endurance Trial Status

While the well-known Killarney two-day event is not part of the official championship point-scoring rounds this year, it remains on the local schedule. Organisers have confirmed they will still run a two-day non-championship event based at Faha in July.

Title Sponsorship Confirmed

Škoda Parts Ireland returns as the title sponsor for the 2026 season through the support of Geoffrey Conboy from Colm Burns Car Sales. The series aims to build on a competitive 2025 season where crews like Owen Murphy and Patrick O’Sullivan, in their red Toyota Yaris, kept the title battle alive until the final stages.

Full regulations and registration details for the upcoming season are now available on the Sportity App using the code ETCHAMP.
