Katsuta’s thoughts ahead of Rally Sweden
Takamoto Katsuta enters Sweden with high confidence, having been in the hunt for victory during last year’s event. He credits his early training in Finland for his comfort on snow and ice and is targeting a breakthrough performance on the fast roads around Umeå.
“I feel comfortable in these conditions. The roads in Sweden have a similar high-speed character to Finland, which I enjoy,” Katsuta said. “I’ve been competitive there in the last few years and have good confidence from that, so this year I will try to do a similar performance to last year, or even better: this is my target.”
