Two-car Irish Rally3 team targets Europe in 2026/

An Irish Rally3 team will take a significant step onto the European stage in 2026 with a two-car entry confirmed for the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy.

The line-up will feature Galway class winners Cian Caldwell and Paul McPhillips along with Kalum Graffin and Julia Thulin, both crews competing in Ford Fiesta Rally3 machinery. Caldwell and McPhillips arrive with momentum after winning the Rally3 class on the Corrib Oil Galway International Rally, while Graffin and Thulin showed strong pace before retiring on the final stage in Galway while holding third in class.

For Thulin, the Galway event marked her first rally start in Ireland, the Swedish co-driver gaining valuable tarmac experience ahead of a busy European programme.

The ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy has been confirmed for a third season in 2026 and continues to offer one of the most attractive pathways in European rallying. Incentives totalling €106,000 are available, highlighted by a fully funded Ford Fiesta Rally2 drive on Rali Ceredigion in Wales, the penultimate round of the FIA European Rally Championship, from 4–6 September. The Rally2 car will be run by the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team.

Run by M-Sport Poland in partnership with WRC Promoter GmbH, the Trophy will again be contested over five rounds in 2026, split between gravel and asphalt. The calendar begins with Rally Hungary (20–22 March), followed by Rally Sierra Morena in Spain (17–19 April), Royal Rally of Scandinavia (22–24 May), Rally di Roma Capitale (3–5 July) and the Rally Poland (24–26 July).

Competitors will run on control Pirelli tyres and Warter Fuels, with discounted rates available throughout the season and free tyres and fuel awarded to the top three finishers on each round. M-Sport Poland will attend all events with full technical support and spares backup.
