South West Road Races reschedules AGM to accommodate national membership

The South West Road Races Athea committee has announced that its Annual General Meeting has been rescheduled to Sunday, February 15, 2026. The meeting will now take place at 4:00pm at Brown Joe’s on Barrack Street in Athea, County Limerick.

The decision to move the meeting from its original Tuesday night slot follows a review by the club. Organisers believe that a weekend afternoon is more suitable for the current membership, many of whom are now based outside of Limerick and across various parts of Ireland.

By shifting the date and time, the committee aims to ensure that members travelling from further afield have the opportunity to attend and participate in the club’s future planning. The AGM remains a vital fixture for the organisation as it continues its efforts to revive road racing in West Limerick for the 2026 season.
