Duggan crowned Kerry Rally Champion and handed free Kerry Summer Rally entry
Rob Duggan was officially confirmed as the 2025 Moriarty’s Central Car Sales Kingdom of Kerry Rally Champion at the county awards night in Keel.
The title was decided after a close finish to the season at the Killarney Historic Rally. Duggan and Colin O’Donoghue ended the championship level on 31 points, but Duggan secured the title on a tie-break thanks to two class wins on the Rally of the Lakes.
As part of his championship prize, Duggan received a free entry into the 2026 Kerry Summer Rally, adding further reward to his county title success.
Colin O’Donoghue finished runner-up after winning the modified section of the Killarney Historic Rally, while Alan Ring claimed third overall. Fergus O’Meara secured the Historic championship and Michelle Hickey took the Ladies’ title.
The Moriarty’s Central Car Sales Kingdom of Kerry Rally Championship remains the only county rally championship in Ireland and is open to members of Kerry Motor Club and Killarney and District Motor Club resident within the county.
