Motor Show returns to Dublin with major manufacturer line-up

The European Motor Show will take over the RDS in Dublin over the February Bank Holiday weekend, with organisers confirming a strong mix of motorsport content and manufacturer displays for the 2026 event.
The show runs on Saturday January 31 and Sunday February 1 and continues the move away from the traditional static motor show format, instead offering a festival-style experience built around motorsport, performance cars, innovation and family attractions.
A wide range of manufacturers are already confirmed, including Volkswagen, Škoda, Mercedes, Fiat, Peugeot and DS, alongside electric and mobility brands XPeng, BYD, Smart and Leap Motor. A Live Car Catwalk will bring cars onto a moving runway, giving spectators the chance to see vehicles in motion rather than parked on stands.
Motorsport will be a central theme, with Formula One team principal Christian Horner headlining the main stage. Touring car, single-seater and endurance racing will also be represented, alongside interactive gaming, technology zones and dedicated family areas. Organisers say the focus is on creating a full event experience rather than a traditional exhibition.

Adventure rider and television personality Charley Boorman will appear at the show to share stories from the Dakar Rally and his wider adventure career. He will be joined by Dakar competitor Oran O’Kelly, offering Irish fans a first-hand insight into one of the toughest motorsport events in the world.
Sidebar: Women in Motorsport
Women in Motorsport will be a key feature of the European Motor Show, with an on-stage panel highlighting the growing female presence across international racing. The line-up includes IndyCar and former Formula 2 driver Tatiana Calderón, Irish racing champion Nicole Drought and motorsport presenter Laura Jordan O’Connell, with discussions focusing on career pathways, competition at the highest level and the future of women in the sport.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
