West Cork Rally set for three day format in 2026
Cork Motor Club has confirmed preliminary details for the 2026 Clonakilty Park Hotel West Cork Rally, which will take place over three days starting on Friday March 13.
The event will form round two of the 2026 NAPA Auto Parts Irish Tarmac Rally Championship and comes as Cork Motor Club prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary year.
Steve Davis returns as Clerk of the Course and the organisers have again committed to a competitor focused format. The rally will feature a total of 16 stages, beginning with two night stages on Friday evening. The opening stage will run through Clonakilty town centre, with a later start time allowing crews to complete recce and scrutiny earlier in the day.
Saturday’s itinerary will include eight stages, with a mix of well known classic tests, while Sunday will see crews tackle a further six stages described as equally demanding for both car and crew. Around 50 per cent of the route will mirror the 2025 event, providing a balance of familiarity and new challenges.

Clonakilty Park Hotel will once again serve as rally headquarters, continuing its long association with the event. Further details on the 2026 West Cork Rally are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
