Season wrap for Kerry Motorsport News – see you all in 2026

Season wrap for Kerry Motorsport News

That brings the curtain down on another season for Kerry Motorsport News, a year that saw record numbers through the website and strong engagement across all platforms.

Throughout the season we covered every motorsport event possible in Kerry and followed local competitors wherever they competed, at home and abroad. From Irish rallies and race meetings to events as far afield as New Zealand and the United States, the focus remained on Kerry competitors. Two and four wheel competition, classic motorsport and club activity all featured, along with regular coverage of the trials and tribulations of the county’s two motor clubs and their members.

Kerry Motorsport News now closes for the end of season break and will return on Tuesday January 6 with fresh features and plans for the year ahead. Thanks to everyone who supported the site during the year, whether by reading, sharing stories or passing on information. That support is what makes the coverage possible.

For those who wish to do so, a voluntary subscription option remains available and helps keep the show on the road.

While the website will be largely inactive over the holiday period, social media updates will continue around key Christmas and New Year events. Coverage begins with the Moriarty’s Central Car Sales Kingdom of Kerry Rally Championship awards night this Saturday, followed by the Reindeer Run in Camp on St Stephen’s Day, Kerry interest at the Mondello Rally Sprint, the Turkey Run Rally and the Cork Motor Club Boggeragh Rally over the festive period.

That is all for now, with more news in the new year.

  1. Well done Sean.
Have a good Christmas and a well earned break.
Not too much of the blackstuff.
    Regards, Kevin.
