The two motorsport clubs in the county recently concluded their Annual General Meetings (AGMs), electing the committees and officers who will steer them through the 2026 season.
Kerry Motor Club AGM
Kerry Motor Club held its AGM at The Rose Hotel, where the following individuals were elected as the club’s officers for 2026: Chairman/PRO Sean Moriarty, Vice Chairman Jason Brick, Secretary Christina Fealy, Asst Secretary Clodagh Delaney, Treasurer Dermot Flynn, Membership Secretary Conor Walsh, Marshal Liaison Kevin Tydings, Social Media Patrick Slattery, Daniel Chung, Ben O’Dwyer, and Dan O’Dwyer, and Children Officers Dermot Flynn and Maurice McElligott.
The meeting also saw the presentation of the coveted Club Person of the Year award. Following a secret vote, the honour was jointly awarded to Jonathan O’Shea and Christina Fealy for their outstanding contribution to Kerry Motor Club throughout the year.
Killarney and District Motor Club AGM
The Killarney and District Motor Club (KDMC) held its AGM at the Plaza Hotel. The officers elected for 2026 are: Chairman Thomas Randles, Assistant Chairman Gavin O’Grady, Secretary Laura Healy, Assistant Secretary Saoirse Redmond, Membership Secretary Norma Lucey, Treasurer Anthony O’Connor, PRO Dylan McCarthy, Children’s Officer Saoirse Redmond, Southern 4 Representative Edwin Walsh, TROA Delegate Anthony O’Connor, and Rally Promotions Director Pat Healy.
The following individuals were elected as KDMC Club Directors for 2026: Mike Marshall, Tim Clifford, Edwin Walsh, John Falvey, Diarmuid Cronin, and Liam Cronin.
Both clubs now look ahead to the 2026 calendar, with the newly elected committees set to manage the year’s events, including the new Kerry Summer Rally and the International Rally of the Lakes.
