Rallying Boosts Tourism as Killarney Historic Rally Attracts Drivers and Co-Drivers from Across Ireland and Beyond
This weekend’s Killarney Towers Hotel Killarney Historic Rally has attracted drivers and co-drivers from 30 of Ireland’s 32 counties. The event, one of the highlights of the motorsport calendar, brings significant visitors and tourism to the town.
The Irish participants are listed here in order of appearance on the official entry list:
Donegal, Kerry, Dublin, Cork, Wexford, Waterford, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Clare, Down, Roscommon, Galway, Kilkenny, Kildare, Antrim, Limerick, Westmeath, Derry, Tipperary, Meath, Monaghan, Laois, Carlow, Mayo, Cavan, Longford, Sligo, Leitrim, Louth, and Wicklow.
Only two counties, Armagh and Offaly, have no representation in this year’s rally.
The event also features a strong international entry with crews from Wales, Belgium, the USA, Isle of Man, England, Singapore, Canada, Scotland, Spain, and Australia.
