🎄 Christmas Charity Drive: Modified Cars to Host Listowel Meet and UHK Toy Run
Local car enthusiasts are combining motorsport passion with Christmas charity this December, hosting a special “Christmas Cars & Coffee” meet ahead of their annual Toy Run convoy to University Hospital Kerry (UHK).
The group, led by organiser Sam McElligott, is seeking support from the motorsport community to make this year’s drive even bigger than last year’s successful event. Funds raised are used to purchase toys for the Cashel Ward (Children’s Ward) at UHK, bringing cheer to children who must spend the holidays in the hospital.
The fundraising drive kicks off with the Christmas Cars & Coffee meet at the Mart Yard, Listowel (V31 C665) on Sunday, December 14th, running from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event promises a great display of classic and modified vehicles.
Following the Listowel meet, the convoy of decorated cars will travel to UHK to deliver the donated presents. The group is urging the public to support their GoFundMe campaign to ensure a massive haul of toys for the young patients.
