Rally Inspired Opel Mokka GSE Coming to Ireland in 2026
Opel has confirmed that the new high-performance Mokka GSE, the most powerful electric road car the brand has ever produced, will be available in Ireland from 2026 as a special-order model.
The electric Mokka GSE takes its design and performance direction from the Mokka GSE Rally programme, bringing competition style and technology into a road-going package.

The car made its world debut at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich where it impressed the public and industry experts. It went on to win the Golden Steering Wheel award for Best Small Car 2025 after testing at the DEKRA Lausitzring.
Opel CEO Florian Huettl said the new model brings the company’s motorsport heritage directly onto the road:
“Our new Mokka GSE brings Opel’s motorsport know-how to the road. All-electric, practical and highly emotional in every respect.”
The Mokka GSE produces 281hp and 345Nm of torque, giving it a 0 to 100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. Opel says it is now the fastest electric production model in the company’s history.
A 54 kWh battery provides a driving range of up to 336 km under WLTP test conditions. The car also features GSE specific styling, including unique graphics, wheels developed exclusively for the model and yellow four-piston brake calipers at the front.
