Former Golf Ireland CEO is the new big boss at Motorsport Ireland
Motorsport Ireland has announced the appointment of Pat Finn as Head of Motorsport.
Pat joins Motorsport Ireland from Left Field Sports Consulting, having previously held the position of CEO with the Golfing Union of Ireland (now Golf Ireland). Pat has over 20 years of leadership experience in the Irish sports industry.
Speaking on his appointment Pat stated; “I’m delighted to be joining Motorsport Ireland, an organistaion with a proud heritage and a passionate community at its core. Irish motorsport has an exceptional pipeline of talent and a highly capable team, who are committed to delivering real progress. I look forward to working with everyone across the sport, along with our key external stakeholders, to drive the current strategy forward and to build on the strong foundations that the community has established.”
Aiden Harper, President Motorsport Ireland commented; “We are delighted to welcome Pat into the organisation. Pat is joining an excellent existing team and we look forward to working with him to lead the organisation, and our sport, into the future.”
Arthur Collier, IMF Chair said; “Pat will be a great addition to the organisation and brings with him a wealth of sports industry experience and a fresh perspective that will greatly enhance our operations.”
Pat Finn will take up the role of Head of Motorsport at the start of January 2026.
