Celebration for Rallylegend crew at O’Regan’s Ballyheuige on Saturday

A celebration is set for this Saturday, November 15, to welcome home the local drivers and over 150 travelling Kerry rally fans following their successful trip to Rallylegend in San Marino last month.
The journey to Rallylegend was organised to mark Kerry Motor Club member Ray Stack’s 50th birthday, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Circuit of Kerry.
Fellow club members and supporters clubbed together to finance Ray’s entry, which saw him drive a Ford Escort Mk2, co-driven by his brother Gene Stack, making his first competitive start outside Ireland.
Ray and Gene Stack were joined in San Marino by 2025 Rally of the Lakes National Rally winners Rob Duggan and John McCarthy, also competing in an Escort Mk2, and co-driver Ciara Griffin, who teamed up with Cork’s Neil Phelan in another Escort. In total, over 200 Kerry supporters travelled to the event, which ran from October 2nd to 5th.
The “Welcome Home Party” takes place at O’Regan’s Bar in Ballyheigue. The event is open to all who attended the trip and any motorsport fans, young or old, in the area.

A key feature of the night will be the launch of a highlights video covering the entire trip. Young Kerry Motor Club member Tony Griffin, a rising photographer and cameraman star, will present his video sharp at 9:00pm to accommodate younger attendees.
Pub owner Gearoid O’Regan will provide finger food, and the night will include a presentation to Ray Stack, spot prizes, and a raffle. Music will be provided by Seán Hurley.
