Mini Mania

Returning to Killarney after a two absence is the Mini Cooper S crew of Andrew O’Hanlon and Kevin Hogan.
The Midlands UK based crew came over in 2023 and were leading the C1 class by over 2 minutes when they were caught out by a series bumps near the end of the Shanera stage, resulting in a very heavy roll, damaging the car too badly to continue.

Having just taken the ‘triple crown’ of overall Historic Cup, Class H-A (up to 1300 cc) and Mini Challenge victory in the Protyre BTRDA Asphalt Championship, Andrew O’Hanlon and Kevin Hogan are delighted to be returning this year to tackle the challenge of the mighty Killarney Historic.
The Protyre BTRDA Series takes place across the whole of the UK and Northern Ireland but the pair feel their successful season would not be complete without a return visit to Killarney.
“The atmosphere and hospitality of the spectators and local people all around the Killarney area make this a fantastic event to be part of. Add to that the awesome stages and roads around the area, the support of local businesses and the great work the organisers and especially the marshals put in, makes this our favourite event in the calendar” said Andrew.
“The crowds all seem to love seeing the Mini’s come through the stages and we are hoping to get to the end this year but win, lose or draw we know we’ll enjoy it and have a great time”.
