Kerry Motor Club will host a special Halloween event this year as an introduction to map reading and road navigation.
“Haunted Roads of Tralee” will take place on Saturday, November 1, and will be based at The Klub on Strand Street, Tralee.
The event is open to both members and non-members and will take the format of a two-person treasure hunt, with a little bit of map reading and plotting required. The aim is to reintroduce basic navigation skills to club members and supporters in a fun, Halloween-themed way.

As the event falls on the Halloween weekend, the route will have a haunted theme, with many clues leading to scary locations and haunted houses around the Tralee area.
Entry is €20 per car, and all proceeds will go to the Kerry Cancer Support Group – Health Link Transport service.S
All are welcome to take part, including club members, supporters, and members of neighbouring motorsport and classic car clubs. It may also be one last opportunity for classic car owners to take their vehicles out before the winter sets in.
After the treasure hunt, the club will host a social evening at The Klub, where awards will be presented to the winners along with a few novelty prizes.
There will be a raffle with spot prizes on the night too.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
