Record crowds attend Kelliher’s Toyota Roadshow at the Gleneagle

Kelliher’s Toyota held its fourth Toyota Roadshow at the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney on Sunday, and Dealer Principal Tim Kelliher described it as the best one yet.

The Gleneagle was packed throughout the day, with people calling in from early morning and a steady stream of visitors keeping trade brisk. Interest from the car-buying public was described as “very strong.”

It was the fourth time the popular event was staged at the Gleneagle, although it could have been five as last year’s show was cancelled because of Storm Debi.

One of the highlights this year was the official unveiling of the all-new Toyota Proace Max large van and the new-generation Toyota Land Cruiser. The Toyota GR Yaris also proved a major draw for visitors.

The event ran from 11am to 4pm and featured Toyota’s full line-up, including the Corolla Cross, the complete Corolla range, the Toyota C-HR, and both Yaris and Yaris Cross models.

Tim Kelliher said afterwards that the day was a huge success. “It was our busiest show yet. The level of interest in Toyota’s latest hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric models was exceptional,” he said.
