There’s growing rallying interest at 360 Motorsport Park, just outside Tralee, as the venue prepares to host a Pre-Historic Rally Test Day on its newly developed 1.8km tar-and-chip stage.

The test will act as a pilot for monthly open shakedown days, similar to the circuit’s popular open drift sessions.
Organiser Niall Gunn confirmed that the new test days are aimed at rally crews looking for a safe and accessible local venue to fine-tune their cars.
“I’m getting lots of enquiries now weekly,” he said. “We’re looking to start running monthly open shakedown test days for rallying, a lot like our open drift days. The venue isn’t available for single-car hire, so it’ll be run in groups to make it viable.”
The new stage uses sections of 360’s perimeter roads and incorporates part of its existing drift figure-of-eight area, offering a mix of tight corners and fast stretches. The operators say the layout can also accommodate an additional loop, increasing the total driving distance available for testing.
The facility, which already hosts drifting, off-road motorcycling, and track activities, has been steadily expanding its motorsport footprint. The addition of a rally-style stage marks the venue’s first step into stage rallying and could, in time, develop into a short rallysprint event.

Duggan said. “But I got a couple of kilometres done after the rebuild and it was exactly what I wanted.”
