Ring’s Italian Adventure in Elba

Killarney driver Alan Ring, co-driven by Adrian Deasy, finished sixth in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship section of the XXXVII Rallye Elba Storico in Italy on September 27.
Driving a BMW M3 E30 under the Team Mats banner, the pair tackled three days of demanding tarmac stages. Mixed weather and a highly competitive European field added to the challenge, but Ring and Deasy produced consistent times to secure their top-six finish.
