MacHale trio confirmed for sold out Rally Masters Ireland

MacHale trio confirmed for sold-out Rally Masters Ireland

Rally Masters Ireland at Killarney Racecourse has officially sold out, with organisers confirming that no additional tickets will be made available and none will be sold at the gate.

The September 27 event promises 50 top-line drivers in 50 famous cars for a charity event.

The latest addition to the already star-studded entry list in the entire MacHale family.

Father Austin and his younger son Gareth will drive two different versions of the Ford Focus World Rally Car while eldest son Aaron is expected to drive a Mitsubishi Lancer E9.

Clerk of the Course Tim Clifford said the support for the 2025 event has been overwhelming.

As well as being a celebration of rallying, the new event for 2025 will support good causes.

Proceeds will be donated to Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice and the Jack and Jill Foundation, charities that help families and children across Kerry.

Spectator access will be carefully managed across the weekend. Admission is strictly by pre-purchased ticket, and anyone arriving without one will be turned away. Mr Clifford also reminded supporters that there will be no car access to Killarney Racecourse via Ross Road under any circumstances.

The car parks at the venue are being used to home static displays and other activities associated with the main event.

These include an exhibition of Group B rally cars that are not taking to the track and a trade stand dedicated to the activities of Killarney and District Motor Club and its youth arm KDMC2.

Mr Clifford stressed that tow-away zones will be in operation, and residents along Ross Road have asked for full cooperation from rally fans.

To ease access to the venue, Rally Masters organisers have arranged a free courtesy bus linking the Avenue Hotel to the event site.

The shuttle will run throughout the day between 9:30am and 5:00pm. With plenty of parking available in Killarney town, Clifford has encouraged fans to leave their cars in town and make use of the service.
