Chance to win a passenger ride in Colin McRae’s Subaru at Rally Masters Killarney
Fans attending Rally Masters Ireland in Killarney will have the chance to sit alongside a rally driver in Colin McRae’s 1997 RAC Rally–winning Subaru Impreza WRC.
The car, owned by former Prodrive engineer Martyn Spurrell, is confirmed for the demonstration-style event at Killarney Racecourse on Saturday, 27 September. Spurrell has donated a passenger seat run in the car as part of a special raffle.
Raffle tickets cost €5 and are only available to those who have already purchased an admission ticket for Rally Masters Ireland. A maximum of 1,500 tickets will be sold. The draw will take place no later than Friday, 12 September 2025, with the winner notified by email and announced on social media.
The prize is open to over-18s only and Motorsport Ireland approval is required as a formality. If circumstances change, organisers reserve the right to substitute a similar car and driver.
Rally Masters Ireland will bring 50 iconic rally cars and 50 drivers to a purpose-built stage at the racecourse. Confirmed entries already include Irish legend Billy Coleman in a BMW M3 E30, Belgian star Patrick Snijers in a Bastos-liveried BMW, Andrew Nesbitt in his Donegal-winning Mitsubishi Lancer WRC, and World Rally Championship driver Josh McErlean in a Ford Focus WRC.
The event is being run by Killarney and District Motor Club, co-promoted by Motorsport Ireland, and supported by Kingfisher Insurance. It will raise funds for the Jack and Jill Foundation and Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice.
