Another Irish rally legend has been added to the line-up for Rally Masters Ireland with confirmation that Andrew Nesbitt will take part in the event at Killarney Racecourse on Saturday, September 27.
He will appear in the Mitsubishi Lancer WRC that Nesbitt drove to victory on the 2006 Donegal International Rally.

The car has appeared at demonstration runs in recent years, including the Former Winners Parade at the Donegal International Rally’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2022.
For many fans, this will be a rare chance to see the driver and car combination together again in the modern era. Nesbitt is a double winner of the Rally of the Lakes in 2002 and 2005.

The car will travel to San Marino immediately after the Killarney event to take part in Rally Legend the following weekend, making Rally Masters Ireland a unique opportunity for Irish fans to catch it in action.
Their confirmation adds further star power to Rally Masters Ireland, which will feature 50 cars and 50 drivers in a one-day showcase of rally machinery.
Already confirmed are Billy Coleman in a BMW M3 E30, Patrick Snijers in a Bastos-liveried BMW M3 E30, and World Rally Championship driver Josh McErlean in a Ford Focus WRC.

The event will run on a 1.7km demonstration stage at Killarney Racecourse and will feature cars from the Group B, Group A, and early WRC eras.
Organised by Killarney and District Motor Club and co-promoted by Motorsport Ireland, with support from Kingfisher Insurance, the event will raise funds for The Jack and Jill Foundation and Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice.
Tickets are already selling fast, with more than two-thirds now gone. Organisers expect a sell-out well in advance of rally day.
